The annual Oireachtas festival which celebrates the best of sean-nós singing, dancing and storytelling took place in the INEC Killarney over the weekend and plenty of trophies, cups and medals are making their way to Donegal this week.
One of the stand-out winners is Eoghan Ó Curraighín from Baile Mór in Teelin who took away two big prizes – first prize in the Dreas Cainte competition and first prize in the Storytelling competition – it was his 6th time winning the Storytelling competition – the only person to win it so many times.
