ROADS WARNING ISSUED AS TEMPERATURES DROP TO FREEZING

TEMPERATURES have dropped to freezing in many parts of Co Donegal this evening – with council gritters taking to the roads for the first time this autumn.

Wet roads from torrential rain over the weekend is making driving conditions difficult in many areas.

County council officials, AA Ireland and Gardaí have all warned motorists to be careful overnight and into Monday morning.
