Donegal tour operator Mangan Tours is to cease the overseas tour section of their business with the loss of a number of jobs.

Managing Director Joe Mangan admitted the downturn in the economy had forced them to take the decision.

Mr Mangan said all tours arranged for this year will be honoured.

However he admitted that no tour brochure will be produced for 2014.

The Falcarragh-based tour operator will continue to operate their regular bus service.

A number of jobs including office staff and bus drivers will lose their jobs as a result of the move, Mr Mangan confirmed regrettably.

However he said all vouchers and tours for the remainder of the year will be honoured.
