A Letterkenny man who told Gardai his name was Mickey Mouse has been told to pay €250 to charity.
Peter O’Donnell was referred to in court as “the comedian” by Judge Paul Kelly when he appeared today.
O’Donnell of 28 Cashel Park, Lisnennan, was arrested by Gardai at Cashel Park on July 15th last under the Public Order Act.
When arrested he told Garda Shane Lavelle that his name was Mickey Mouse.
Judge Kelly ordered him to pay €250 to charity and said maybe it will make him twice in future before striking the charges out.
