Also they will perform “Lament” from John McLachlan´s String Quartet No. 2, a wonderful piece selected from the library of the Contemporary Music Centre Ireland.
During this year the Donegal Camerata String Quintet has appeared in different venues across the county as well as continuing to develop an audience for Classical Music with their regular concerts in Conwal Church.
Working with different organisations, the ensemble intends to keep bringing their chamber music performances to every corner of Donegal.
Founded in 2007, the Donegal Camerata is an international string ensemble of professional players based in the North West.
Recently they performed at the closing concert of the 400th Anniversary celebrations of Letterkenny, in RTÉ Radio 1’s Sunday Miscellany and at the Allingham Arts Festival with great success.
