Our men’s team came out on top in a closely fought derby against Drumoghill Fc. Drew Connolly and Austin Marron were the scorers in an exciting game played in front of a large crowd.
They have a free day this Sunday. They are running a Last Man Standing competition and entry forms can be got from any of the players.
Our u/14’s had an 8-0 win over Illistrin with goal machine Ryan O’Donnell getting five. Jordan Gallagher, Jack Duffy and Eoin O’Connor were also on the score sheet.
Our u/12’s lost a hard fought encounter 3-2 to Ballyraine. Oisin Bonner and Ryan Moore were the scorers. We had two u/10 teams competing in the blitz. Both teams played some excellent football with Osa Emma-Braines, Luke Parke, Ryan Magee and Rhys Boyle doing particularly well. Shay Doherty, Tiernan Brown, Luke Parke, Faolain Gibson and Matthew Peoples were among the scorers.
In our weekly lotto the numbers drawn were 9,17,20 and 24. Three people had 3 numbers with James Gibson drawn out and winning €50. Next Weeks jackpot is €4,675.
The club and community were saddened with the passing of Sarah Mc Carron last week. We offer our sincerest sympathy to her family and friends.
