GARDAI are warning of worsening road conditions overnight in County Donegal due to heavy rain.
Parts of the county are being pounded with torrential downpours.
This has led to excess surface on many roads, particularly in rural areas.
Gardaí are warning motorists to slow down to suit the conditions.
Whilst we will escape the worst of Wednesday’s weather up to 30mm will fall over eastern Ulster during the day.
South Donegal can expect heavy rain in the morning – with heavy showers over western and northern parts in the late afternoon and evening.
