BREAKING NEWS: EIGHT members of a dive team have been brought to safety off the Donegal coast after a May Day rescue.
Killybegs Coast Guard were tasked today by Malin Head Coastguard to reports of a dive boat with several persons onboard taking on water near Drumanoo Head.
Killybegs Coast Guard boat escorted the boat to Portnacrosh pier. Eight members of the dive team safely made their way off the boat.
The Killybegs team then escorted the dive boat back to Killybegs Harbour where it was safely retrieved from the water.
The team was then stood down by Malin Head Coastguard.
