Tragic Donegal teenager Conor Boyle has passed away.
The brave 18 year old had been fighting for his life in a hospital in London after being involved in a car crash two weeks ago.
A huge social media campaign sent thousands of messages of support for the popular young man.
The Loughanure teenager was left in a critical condition after his car struck a tree when he was making his way home from work in the early hours of Saturday the 8th of September.
Conor had been on a life support machine and his condition was described as “stable but critical.”
Conor, who completed his Leaving certificate in June, had been working with his father’s tunneling in company for the summer.
He had planned on working in England for a year before returning to Ireland next year to go to university.
His mother Sheila, father Hugh and his five brothers are being comforted at this trying time.
Members of Naomh Muire GAA Club this morning posted a message of condolence on their Facebook page this morning.
“Words can’t describe how we feel this morning in the club, the news we prayed and hoped would never come has hit us and its a terrible feeling to lose one of our… own so young.
