McElhinneys Department Store, Ballybofey has scooped up an award for having one of Ireland’s Top 5 Websites in 2013.
Retail Ireland Excellence selected www.mcelhinneys.com based on outstanding design, product offering, strategy, functionality and customer service.
The website was launched in November 2012. Customers can browse and buy McElhinneys stock online, where it can then be delivered to their home or collected instore.
Senior Manager Roisin Woods said, “We are overjoyed to be named as one of the Top 5 websites in Ireland, the standard of entry was very high so it is a wonderful achievement for our team.

This is not the first recognition of the store’s website quality. In February, McElhinney’s Bridal Site won Best Wedding Supplier Website 2013 at the Weddings Online Awards.
McElhinneys will learn if they have been selected as overall winners at an award ceremony in Galway, Saturday November 2.
