Hundreds of people are expected to converge on Letterkenny’s Clanree Hotel today for the annual North West Truck Fest.
Dozens of trucks of all shapes and sizes will be on show.
As well as trucks, there will be a fleet of classic bikes and vintage cars for all to see.
This is the seventh year of the event and the second time it has been staged in Letterkenny.
So far the organising committee of the event has managed to raise a staggering €70,000 for local charities.
This year’s even is being held in aid of the Donegal Branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Marc Anderson Budapest Treatment Fund.
For those with only a passing interest in trucks and cars, there will be plenty of other distractions!
On Sunday afternoon there will be live music and family entertainment including bouncy castles.
One of the highlights of the bust weekend will be the convoy of trucks through Letterkenny starting at 5pm on Sunday, bringing the weekend events to a close.
