“We now have 65 staff people on the staff, having now added 20 new positions and that makes us one of the largest employers in Letterkenny area and we are all very proud of that,” he said.
The shop has a vastly increased fruit and veg section, with daily delivered fresh produce, full to bursting with everything from the humble spud to exotic fruits, there is something to tempt every taste and pocket.
The smell of baked bread from their new Scratch Bakery and freshly brewed coffee in the new bakery section is irresistible. Moving onto the new Deli section, there is a fantastic range of new gourmet products available, alongside the BBQ Chickens, or the freshly prepared in store pizzas ready to enjoy in less than three minutes, the choice and value on offer is truly staggering.

The store has also added a hugely popular butcher’s counter.

“The store is beating its rivals in terms of excellent value and better quality products for sale and we have expanded our offerings in the off license.
“Our store is now deemed a real alternative to the larger non-local supermarkets and we can demonstrate the same value as these other big retailers.
“Having a family myself I know the importance of being able to Budget your shopping bill, its important you can get great offers every day and you don’t need to overspend like you sometimes can in the bigger stores.
“Our staff have been widely complimented for their attention to detail in this regard. We just completed a customer service training program called I-Care to keep the already high standards in place.
“Regardless of whether people are spending five cent, €5, or €500, they are leaving us their money and we are truly grateful for their custom. We are proud of our great staff here and the way in which they embrace good customer service – it continues to amaze me how well Customers are treated in the Store.”
Home Delivery
HOME DELIVERY: Another service that the store employs is free home delivery, covering a vast area from Kilmacreanan, Ballyare, to Lismonaghan & Lisnenan.
“We have a lady in Lismonaghan who has been dealing with us for the past 2 years, and yet she never put a foot inside the shop she places her order weekly on phone and we deliver, its that simple!” said Mairtin.
“The phone and e-mail delivery service that the store operates is ‘very’ busy. Through this system, customers can shop easily and Centra Mountain Top delivers free of charge.”
Mairtin and his wife Angie has been in charge at Centra Mountain Top for two years now.
“We currently have a staff number of 65 here and that’s why we work tirelessly in our community through supporting local employment, local charities, local clubs, and supporting local suppliers, it’s important for us to be part of our community and give back where possible,” he added.
“Angie and I and the staff want to thank our customers for their continued support, especially during the renovations. We promise that we will continue with our great offers on quality fresh food and strive.”
