Donegal cousins, Declan and Brian Boyle, in a Subaru WRC, have won the Dunlop National Rally Championship.
Their victory in the Sepam Tipperary Stonethrowers Rally, which was round six of the eight round series, was enough to see them clear of the chasing pack.
The pair, driving a Suburu WRC, finished the Clonmel-based nine-stage rally a minute and 57 seconds ahead of the MG S2000 of Roy White and James O’Brien.
There was even more Donegal delight in the rally when Declan Gallagher and Ryan Moore in the Toyota Starlet won the top Modified Crew title.
