Lotto & 100+ Club
There was no jackpot winning sequence in this weeks Lotto draw but Kathy Kelly, Edenoughill won €30 in Lucky Dip. Numbers drawn were 5,3,2,8,6,7,4,1. Next weeks Lotto jackpot is €2,800. The Lotto sellers in the coming weeks are: 10th August – Barry Bradley, 17th August – Joe Carlin, 24th August – Eamonn Kelly and 31st August – Maurice O’Donnell.
The winner of the 100+ Club draw this week was Noeleen McCrudden, Aveltygort who wins €100. Thanks to all for their continued support of the weekly Lotto & 100+ Club.
Seniors & Reserves
There is not expected to be any fixtures for the seniors or reserves next weekend.
Senior Ladies
Well done to the ladies on their great win over Naomh Columba on Thursday last. Final score: Red Hughs 0-14 N. Columba 1-5.
Minor Board
U12 girls had a blitz last Monday night in Glenfin. They did very well in all their games. They also had a friendly match against Strabane Sigersons on Saturday winning on a scoreline of 2-4 to 1-6. The return match is on next Saturday morning.
Underage training continue on Saturday morning from 11.00 to 12.00am for all boys and girls.
Red Hughs Summer Camp takes place from Monday 12th to Wednesday the 14th August from 10.00am to 1.00am. Entry is free for Dromore NS pupils and €10 for others who want to attend. Registration for the camp takes place on Sunday 11th August at the clubhouse from 6.00 to 7.00pm. All are welcome.
The club is running a local league for all U8, U10 and U12 boys and girls starting on Wednesday the 21st August. Loads of help is needed to make this a success. Managers and referees are needed and if you are able to help out please contact Stephen Gallagher on (087) 2054484.
Well done to the U16 boys on their great win over Convoy last week on a score of 4-4 to 1-17. They are performing very well in the Division 1 league. They were due to play St Eunans ‘A’ away on Monday evening and are then due to play away to St Michaels next Monday the 12th August at 7.30pm. Best of luck to the lads.
Hard luck to the U18 boys who lost narrowly to Malin in the 1st round 2nd leg of the championship last week. This tie now goes to a play-off and this game is fixed for this Wednesday the 7th August at 7.00pm in Glenswilly. Best of luck to the lads and all come out and support.
Donegal v Mayo
Hard luck to the Donegal senior team on their defeat to Mayo in the All IreIand QF on Sunday. They have given us a great couple of years and they owe us nothing. They are sure to bounce back strong again next year.
Sympathy
Sincere sympathy is extended to the Carlin family, Crossroads on the recent sad passing of John Carlin. John was always a great supporter of the Red Hughs club.
