Due to time constraints, orders for tickets have to be confirmed to the county board by 2 o’clock on Tuesday (30th July) ,therefore Sharon McGinty has to be contacted before this at mcgintysharon@eircom.net with details of tickets required. So lets turn out in huge numbers, decked out with our colours and flags to help carry our boys over the line and through to the semi-finals.

The event concluded with a comic rendition of ” The Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia” by Laurel and Hardy aka Connor and Odhran Sherlock all the way from county Monaghan, a pair of young lads I believe we will see a lot more off on the comic scene in years to come.
A large number of Glenswilly fans travelled to Milford on Wednesday evening last (24th July) for the first round first leg minor championship opener against Milford. In a highly entertaining game our boys ran out comfortable winners on a score of 2-10 to 0-06. Well done lads on a fine all round performance with some exceptional displays of gaelic skills from a number of players. The next leg of the round will throw-in at 7-30 in the Glen on Wednesday evening(31st July). All the best to all involved.
The U-16 team recorded a good victory over Naomh Colmcille in the Glen last week , but unfortunately were unable to find the same form against Carndonagh away on Monday evening(29th July). The team and management are now aiming to record a win in their game with Moville in the Glen on Monday evening (12th August) to redeem a possible 2nd position in the league.

The only senior match to report this week is the comprehensive victory by our 3rd team over Moville away in the Junior B championship. They now progress to the quarter final stage, with the opposition yet unknown. Well done lads.
Finely, once again good luck to our club teams competing this week and especially Michael, Neil and Gary and all the rest of the county team and management in the big game in Croke Park.
