The Killybegs Coast Guard last night responded to a call that a rib was in difficult conditions off the coast of Donegal near Bunglass.
The team were on a training operation when they were alerted to a distress call.
Killybegs Coast Guard checked the area around Bunglass and Slieve Liag and also in Teelin Harbour but nothing was found.
Killybegs Coast Guard were stood down by Malin Head Coastguard.
The unit has again appealed to people if they need them or see someone who you think needs their help just call 112 or 999 ask for the Irish Coast Guard.
