Best of luck to Rory, Ross and Éamonn as Donegal go in search of 3-in-a-row Ulster titles for the first time in history against Monaghan in Clones this Sunday at 4pm.
The Seniors had no game last week and are free once again this weekend, they have drawn group rivals Malin in the quarter-finals of the championship. The Reserves earned a good win over St. Michael’s in the league at the weekend and they will also take on rivals from their group, N. Conaill in their quarter-final game.
The Juniors returned to winning ways at the weekend with a home win over N. Conaill in the league and the two sides will meet again in the championship 1st round, first leg tie in Glenties on Saturday evening at 7:30pm.
The Senior hurlers next outing in the championship is at home to Setanta on Friday, August 2nd.
The Training pitch is now re-opened for all teams. Please use common sense by not running drills on the main playing area.
The Minor Boys had a good win over Burt in their championship preliminary round first leg game and they travel to Burt for the return leg this Wednesday (17th) at 7:30pm. The winners of this tie will take on Termon in the Northern quarter-finals.
The U16 boys Div. 1 footballers continued their good start to the season with another good win over St. Mary’s, Convoy and they travel to Gaoth Dobhair this Friday evening. The Div. 2 team were beaten by Fanad Gaels and they are at home to Termon this Friday evening at 7pm.
The U14 Boys lost to N. Conaill in the championship final last week in a close game. They trailed by 8 points at half time but stormed back into the lead early in the second half but goals proved their undoing as they were beaten by 5-08 to 2-13.
The U12 boys beat Letterkenny Gaels in their Go Games matches on Monday and play Milford in their final games.
Both the U12 and U16 Hurlers continued their good form this week. The U12 Hurlers defeated Buncrana at home and the U16’s had a fine win away to MacCumhaills. The Minor Hurling B semi-final did not take place on Sunday as Carndonagh could not field. The U16 Hurlers are at home to the Gaels this Thursday whilst the U12 Hurlers play away to the Four Masters. Training for the U16’s and Minors every Tuesday at 5pm.
There is no Sunday Morning Academy this week (21st) due to the Ulster Final in Clones. It will return next Sunday (28th).
The U-14 Girls had good wins on Saturday and Tuesday over Lifford and Red Hughs respectively and play Glenfin on Thursday away. Bus leaves Tobins at 5.45pm sharp.
