Smoke spreads form the fire at Loughanure

Dungloe fire crews are tackling a gorse fire which broke out in the Loughanure area just before 10pm.

The fire is in bog land adjacent to the N56 Loughanure to Dungloe road near to where many locals have turf cut and ready for collection.

There is no danger to any dwellings but the thick smoke is crossing the N56 and motorists are asked to exercise with care.
