MALIN GAA CLUB NEWS MEN’S FOOTBALL
Our senior footballers were defeated 1-12 to 1-6 v Four Masters in the All County League clash in Donegal Town on Saturday evening. Malin were forced to field minus 8 first team players, and although the young Malin side fought to the end it was the Donegal Town based side who held on for the win. Our reserve side suffered a heavy defeat on Saturday evening v Four Masters. It was a very much under strength side which took to the field, as many of the usual reserve players were moved into the senior squad for the day. The young reserve side fought bravely and meeting opposition such as this will stand to them in future years. At the time of going to press, it is unclear if we will be in league action at the weekend, supporters are asked to check the club facebook and twitter pages and the parish bulletin for confirmation later in the week.
