A threat to cut off the power supply of sanitation plants at a number of housing estates around Letterkenny is to be raised at the local town council.
The issue is to be raised by local Sinn Fein councillor Gerry McMonagle.
Cllr McMonagle says a number of housing estates are having their power turned off because their ESB bills are not being paid by bankrupt contractors.
The former Mayor of Letterkenny is to ask what action Donegal County Council Water and Sanitation Department is taking with the issue.
Cllr McMonagle previously raised the matter when residents of a housing state received letters from the ESB saying their mechanical plants were being cut off.
Donegal Daily has learned that such a threat exists with at least FIVE housing estates around the town.
