DONEGAL winners have scooped money and prizes worth an incredible €73,000 between them on RTE’s Big Money RTE show.
Donegal Town man Damian Timoney won €36,000 and Rita Bogle from Raphoe €34,000 and a holiday worth €3,000 on tonight’s programme.
Damian, from Castle Street in the town and who works in the Bank Bar won €22,000 in the Jokers’ Wild part of the show.
The Four Masters GAA club man – who has one son Kevin – said he’d be helping him to go to America for a holiday with his aunt and uncle who live out there.
He even got a plug in for DMG Motors, saying a friend there had told him what numbers to pick on the show. He then added another €12,000 in the later rounds.
Meanwhile Mark Bogle, playing for his sister Rita who is a nurse with disabled children at Altnagelvin, pocketed €25,000 in the opening section of the show.
The father of eight from Raphoe also won a €3,000 holiday in the Canary Islands for his sister and another €9,000.
Last weekend Trevor Curran from Burt, Co. Donegal who won €74,050 on the TV Gameshow.
And Liam McIntyre from Waterloo Place in Donegal Town won a city break in New York.
