North Sea Giant
One of the biggest ships to arrive in port in Killybegs is expected to dock in the coming days.
The North Sea Giant measures a sizeable 161 metres in length and weighs in at more than 18,000 tonnes.
It is one of the largest sub sea construction vessels in the world.
It contains three separate engine rooms and is equipped with a supreme crane capacity.
The ship boasts its own helipad, almost 90 cabins with 120 beds and even it’s own cinema in case workers get bored.
It also has its own conference room and gym.
The boat can be seen up close and personal in the coming days.
