A CO Donegal man is celebrating a lovely windfall on a TV gameshow.
Trevor Curran from Speenoge, Burt, won €74,050, including a holiday to Greece, on last Saturday’s National Lottery Big Money Gameshow on RTE.
Trevor and his girlfriend Louise have two daughters – Leah (3) and Sophia (6 months). They are getting married in February of next year. Trevor works for Lidl in Northern Ireland.
He is not sure who purchased his Scratch Card but his mother Susan posted it, unbeknownst to Trevor. His dad William phoned him with the news of his selection on the show.
When Trevor does get some free time he enjoys playing with his children and shooting.
He would like to pay off a few debts and is delighted to be getting the chance to get some extra money towards his forthcoming wedding.

The winning ticket was purchased from XL Dunleavey’s, Ardglass Crossroads, Portsalon.
The fourth show of the National Lottery’s Summer TV Gameshow ‘The Big Money Game’, hosted by Sinead Kennedy and Brian Ormond, took place in RTÉ Studios last Saturday.
Five players from Galway, Wexford, Donegal, Cork and Kildare won prizes to the value of €202,050. The biggest winner on the night was Trevor Curran from Co Donegal who won prizes to the value of €74,050.
