Rory Kavanagh gets his pass forward despite Ambrose Rodgers' tackleNOAMH Conaill are out of the 2013 RnaG County Championship after losing at O’Donnell Park to host and holders St Eunan’s on Saturday night.

Malin’s comprehensive 2-16 to 0-01 win over Cloughaneely was the other nail in the coffin of the Glenties side.

St Eunan’s led by ten points at half-time after a comprehensive display, but Naomh Conaill did show some grit as they clawed the game back in the second half, helped by the dismissal of the home side’s Conal Dunne just a couple of minutes in.

But just as they closed in on the hosts, St Eunan’s remained calm and stepped up another gear to pull away again, eventually winning by three points – 2-15 to 3-09.

Donnacha Gallagher bagged both home goals, with McLoone, Molloy and Thompson netting for the visitors.

St Eunan’s first half display was awesome, with John Haran, Kevin Rafferty and Rory Kavanagh in top form.

In Dungloe, visitors Gaoth Dobhair took another step towards the quarter-finals in a thrilling match, eventually winning by five points 1-11 to 1-06.

Kevin Cassidy was at his best for Gaoth Dobhair, but it was former county colleague Neil McGee who found the net after some great play with brother Eamon.

In Dunfanaghy county colleagues Colm McFadden and Michael Murphy went head-to-head as St Michael’s hosted Glenswilly.

And it was Murphy’s side which took victory on a scoreline of 0-09 to 0-07 in a physical encounter.

Sean MacCumhaills had two points to spare in Ballybofey as they hosted Ardara, winning on a scoreline of 0-13 to 1-08.

Star of the show was Marty O’Reilly who kicked eight of his side’s points against an Ardara side missing six of their regulars through injury. Both sides are through to the quarter-finals.

Elsewhere Kilcar had a superb win over Bundoran, Four Masters had a point to spare over Glenfinn and Killybegs saw off Termon with the smallest of margins.

St Eunans 2-15 Naomh Conaill 3-09
Malin 2-16 Cloich Cheann Fhaola 0-01
Gaoth Dobhair 1-11 Dungloe 1-06
Kilcar 2-19 Bundoran 0-07
Four Masters 1-13 Glenfin 1-12
Sean MacCumhaills 0-13 Ardara 1-08
Naomh Micheal 0-7 Glenswilly 0-09
