Jason Black Errigal 1HE VOWED to ‘complete’ his Everest journey back on top of Errigal.

And today family and friends joined Donegal hero Jason Black as he took the flag he put on top of the world to the top of Donegal.

The Letterkenny man became the first person from the county to climb Mount Everest last month.

But he promised that he would go back up Errigal on his return.

“I promised myself that I would do this,” he said.

Of course he had his family and friends with him.

And despite some mizzle and some wind up there on Errigal there was a real carnival atmosphere to the ascent.

The climb kicked off at 2pm and it wasn’t long before there was a steady stream of people making the climb.
