Four Masters Fundraiser Creating Waves
The Senior and Senior Reserves Four Masters GAA football teams have announced a fundraising event to take place on July 12th when they will be boarding the Donegal Bay Waterbus, however, it is the first prize which is causing waves.
As Four Masters continue their Championship bid the management of both Reserves and Senior’s have organised a fundraising event to raise badly needed funds for the campaign. First prize on the ‘Super Raffle’, which will take place on the Waterbus 12th July, is a one hour training session with four County players. Karl Lacey, Paul Durcan, Barry Dunnion and Luke Keaney, have all committed to giving any boy or girl up to age 16 and their team a one hour training session. With the huge numbers attending underage training the excitement is mounting.
Rory O’Donnell, Senior Management Team, who has been instrumental in organising the event, commented, “the fundraising event is to support and assist our teams and support on-going player development. The first prize has certainly created a bit of a stir, all Underage teams are very excited about the prospect of the four lads coming along and training them. The fact that the four lads have offered to do this reflects the extremely positive role they play. All our players have come up through the Underage structures and they still contribute in any way they can. Paul Durcan and Karl Lacey have also both contributed signed jerseys from last year, so the prizes are unbelievable. It’ll be a great night out and everyone is very welcome”.
The Management and players from both teams will be boarding the Donegal Bay Waterbus on Friday 12th July, to join them for a great night out and have a chance to win some amazing prizes, contact Mickey Martin, 087 619 8905, Rory O’Donnell, 087 887 2283 or Emlyn Hughes, 087 9506 113. This will be a sell out so please get your tickets soon!
