The Seniors and Reserves both came away from Towney with wins on Sunday to move clear at the top of the table. The Seniors have no game this week, the Reserves will travel to Gaoth Dobhair on Saturday evening with a 7:30pm throw-in.
The Juniors suffered another defeat last weekend away to Ardara and travel south again this Friday night to face Naomh Conaill.
Best of luck to Rory, Eamonn and Ross as Donegal go in search of a third Ulster SFC final appearance in a row against Down in Breffni Park on Sunday at 2pm. Those that ordered tickets off Charlie can collect them in the Clubhouse on Thursday (20th) from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.
The Senior ladies were narrowly defeated by Termon at the weekend and will take on Glenfin in the Championship on July 7th in O’Donnell Park. Best of luck to Kaneshia McKinney, Rose and Catherine Boyle who are part of the Donegal Senior Ladies panel that will take on Monaghan in the Ulster semi-final on Saturday.
The Girls U-14s won their second game of the campaign with a comprehensive 6-10 to 0-01 victory away at Convoy on Thursday evening.
Convoy took the lead with the first score, but the St Eunan’s girls responded well, with some superb performances right throughout the team, with most squad members playing a part at some stage in the game.
Squad training resumes on Wednesday at O’Donnell Park at 6.30pm. All players are asked to return their fundraising sponsorship forms for the Feile at this training session.
An under strength U14 boys Div 1 team lost their county league semi-final to Bundoran in Ballyshannon on Monday night by a single point. They take on N. Padraig, Muff in a championship play-off scheduled for next Tuesday (25th), just 3 days before they travel to The Loup in Derry for this year’s Féile Peil na nÓg. The Div. 2 team are at home to Glenswilly on Wednesday night (19th) in their championship semi-final. They will also take part in next week’s Féile as hosts in Div. 5 to St. Anne’s from Dublin.
The U12’s hosted Termon for Go Games on Monday night and are at home again this week to Milford. The U11’s travelled to Killygordon on Monday and are on their travels again this week as they head for Convoy.
The U14 Hurlers defeated the Letterkenny Gaels in the B League Final at O’Donnell Park on Saturday. Leading by a 2.01 to 0.01l at half time the lads had to cope with a determined Gaels side who levelled coming into the final minutes. A free in injury time from Conor Kelly restored St Eunan’s lead but it took a brilliant save from keeper Cathal Kilcullen at full stretch to win it for the lads. Congratulations to all the players and management.
In an excellent day of Hurling Shane O’Donnell and Paul O’Donnell took first and third places in the U12 County Skills competition earlier on Saturday at the Letterkenny Gaels pitch.
Best wishes to Colm Flood, Conor Mc Veigh, Prionsais O’Lionnáin, Eoin Friel and John Ireland who are part of the U21 County Hurling panel playing in the Ulster Shield Final this Wednesday in Celtic Park, Derry at 7pm. They defeated Fermanagh last Wednesday to reach this final. U16 and minor hurling training continues every Tuesday at 5pm.
