Karl Lacey faces a fitness battle to make Donegal’s Ulster SFC semi-final against Down on 23 June in Cavan after undergoing knee surgery on Thursday.
Lacey, who missed the league campaign after having a hip operation in December, made his first appearance of the year for Donegal in the win over Tyrone.
The reigning Footballer of the Year featured in Four Masters Donegal Club Championship victory against Ardara last Sunday, but missed out on today’s encounter against Sean MacCumhaill’s.
Four Masters won the game by a point.
Frank McGlynn, David Walsh, and Neil Gallagher are also believed to be nursing minor injuries ahead of Donrgal’s clash with Down.
