LYIT Lecturer, Joe Coll, and Head of Department of Design & Creative Media, Cormac O’Kane, review the work of LYIT graduates at the upcoming Design Graduate exhibition which opens at 5 pm on Wednesday, 5 June, and runs through until Friday, 7 June.
The 2-day exhibition is open to the public and is a presentation of all LYIT graduates final year assignments from Visual Communication, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Product Design and Motion Graphics.
This year the exhibition features innovative projects such as: motion graphics idents for 4seven – Channel 4’s new to air channel; a campaign to encourage loyalty amongst Reading & Leeds music festival goers; a website for Donegal Culture/Cultúr Dhún na nGall; and a graphic identity for a new range of Batiste products.
“It’s a very high standard,” commented Cormac O’Kane. “Companies looking to see the excellent design talent here or anyone interested in visual design will enjoy this show. All are welcome,” he added.
