The club would like to thank all those who came to the Club forum/workshop in the Parochial hall on Friday night. Some fantastic ideas came out of it that will hopefully help the club progress and fulfill its potential and become a successful club for the whole community from Milford to Rathmullan to Ramelton and all the townlands and people in between. All the ideas and suggestions from tonight will be taken on board and used to produce a club plan to develop and enhance the long and short term future of the Club. If anyone feels they have any further ideas/suggestions/opinions they wish to contribute on how the club should go forward then please feel free to email MilfordDonegalGAA@gmail.com. Also congratulations to Marty Mc Daid and Gary Helferty on each winning tickets to the Donegal v Tyrone Championship game next weekend!

Well done to Niamh Carr, Shannon McGroddy, Orla McAteer and Amber Barrett who were part of the Donegal Ladies Minor team who beat Cavan in Saturday’s Ulster Final on a scoreline of 6-6 to 2-8. Special mention must go to Amber Barrett who came on 5 minutes into the second half when Donegal were 5 points down and scored 4-1 to help Donegal claim the title.
*U16 Girls B Semi Final*
CLG BnaG 2-14 St. Michaels 3-2
The under 16 Girls qualified for the County B final with a fantastic win over St. Michaels last Monday night. Having won the toss CLG BnaG opted to play with the wind in the first half and this proved to be the correct decision as they dominated play and went in ahead at half time on a scoreline of 2-6 to 1-1. In the second half CLG BnaG took up where they left off and the wind proved no advantage to St. Michaels as they struggled to get out of their own half due to the pressure being put on whenever they had possession. CLG BnaG were able to tack on a further 8 points against the wind to always keep daylight between the sides and despite the concession of two late goals they were able too book their place in this years final. It was a great team performance but player of the match goes to Niamh Gallagher who put in a huge performance at wing forward.
*U12 Go Games*
Glenswilly A 5-9 CLG BnaG A 5-14
A great result for the A team tonight who fought back brilliantly from being 7 points down at half time to play very well in the second half to win. Best for CLG BnaG A were Rory O’Donnell, John Matthews, and Enda McGinley
Glenswilly B 0-15 CLG BnaG B 1-3
The B team got off to a bad start in their game tonight from which they never fully recovered. There’s plenty of room for improvement in this team that knows they are capable of better. Best for CLG BnaG team were Barry Donnelly, Dean Devine, and Megan Ferry.
*Donegal Community Games U10 GAA Final*
Milford (Killygarvan & Tullyfern) 2-8 Gaoth Dobhair 0-3
Milford have qualified for the Ulster Finals of the Community Games GAA for the first time ever after a superb display of football at Moyle View Park on Friday night. Playing against a significant breeze in the 1st half Milford trailed by 3 points to 1 at the halftime break, with some fantastic defensive displays from Ryan, Mc Conigley, Donnelly and Curran aided by some brilliant kick-outs from keeper Heimstra. The midfield axis of O’Donnell and Curran took a firm command of proceedings after the break with each of them scoring a goal.
