Four Masters GAA: The Club wishes to thank all members for their application for a ticket for the Donegal/Tyrone game. Unfortunately a number of members were unsuccessful in receiving a ticket for this match as the Club only received 142 tickets while 247 applications were made to the Club for a ticket.
Four Masters GAA Lotto: There was no winner of the annual lotto for week 45. John Hanna, C/O Hanna Hats, won €50 and Paddy and Mary Gildea, Upper Main Street, won €50 each. The numbers drawn were 3, 18, 23, 24. Next weeks total now stands at €2000. The next draw will take place on Monday 27th May.
Camogie Match: Four Masters 5/6thClass girls will play Mac Cumhaill’s on Wednesday at Tirchonaill Park. Throw in 7pm. Best of luck to the girls!
James McAllister Memorial Hurling and Camogie Cup: This fantastic annual memorial competition will take place at Tirchonaill Park at 3pm Saturday 25th May. This is a competition between al hurlers and camog’s in memory of James McAllister, who was a great and dedicated member of Four Masters GAA. Please come along and support.
Four Masters Ladies: The Under 16b Four Masters Ladies faced Carndonagh in Convoy on Monday 20th May in the Semi-Final, coming away with a great win. Final score Four Masters 1-13 Carndonagh 1-04. Well done girls this is a fantastic win. The final between Four Masters and Milford will be played on Friday. Time and venue to be confirmed.
Donegal GAA Jersey Day: The County will be awash with green and gold on Friday the 24th of May as schools and businesses from tip to toe of the county are asked to don their Donegal jersey for a day in support of the 2013 Donegal GAA Senior Football Team Training Fund. Please show your support by wearing the County colours!
Donegal G.A.A Bucket Collection: There will be a Fundraising Initiative on Saturday 25thMay, collectors from Four Masters GAA will be out on the Diamond, Donegal Town from 10am – 6pm. All money raised will be going to support the Donegal G.A.A. training fund. Please give what you can. No amount is too little. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Hurling: A great display of hurling took place on Sunday morning, 19th May, at Tirchonaill Park as Four Masters Under 10’s competed with Setanta and Aodh Rua, in the Club’s first Under 10 Hurling blitz of the season. The Under 8’s will be in Ballyshannon on Sunday 26thMay in their second outing this season.
Under 10’s: The Four Masters Under 10 footballers will compete in their first official blitz this Saturday in Tirchonaill Park at 12 noon when they meet Killybegs and Dungloe. The very best of luck to all players.
