A mystery gambler has scooped €99,000 – on bingo.
The unidentified player is believed to have won the windfall after playing a multiple bingo game at a Ballybofey bookmaker’s shop.
Word of the win if rife in the Twin Towns which recently saw a lotto player scoop an incredible €5 million after their numbers came up.
“It must be something in the water. This is just the latest win after someone scooped the €5 million.
“Nobody knows who won the €99,000 but it’s a fair amount of cash.
“Everyone is talking about it but nobody knows who it is.
“Good luck to them – it’s a nice sum of money to win on the bingo,” said one resident.
