With up to 3,000 walkers and runners set for the North West 10K organisers are hoping that it’s not a last-minute stampede to enter.
The event, which takes place on the streets of Letterkenny on Sunday, May 5th, promises to be another huge success.
Three charities – the Donegal Mountain Rescue, the Friends of Letterkenny Hospital and SNAP (Special Needs Park) – will all receive a timely funding boost as a result of the event.
Organisers are opening an early registration portacabin which will be located at the Letterkenny Community Centre.
The first 2,500 walkers and runners will receive a fabulous Donegal Daily/Brian McCormick t-shirt to mark the occasion and hopefully wear on the day.
The portacabin will be open from April 29th from 6-8pm each evening and on Saturday from 2-6pm.
Anyone considering entering is asked to get along early to get their race number and t-shirt.
And take it from us – the t-shirts are worth getting your hands on!
