Lotto & 100+ Club
There was no jackpot winning sequence in this weeks Lotto draw but Frances Callaghan won €30 in lucky dip. Next weeks Lotto jackpot is €2,150. The Lotto sellers in the coming weeks are: 27th April – Eamonn Kelly, 4th May – Maurice O’Donnell, 11th May – Ollie Doherty and 18th May – Tommy McGlinchey.

Seniors & Reserves
Both teams played Carndonagh at home on Saturday evening. The reserves put in a solid display in their game to get a vital win. The seniors gave a great performance and led all the way through with the crucial goal coming from Calvin Bradley early on. Both teams are fixed to play Downings at home this Saturday 27th April with the senior at 7.00pm and reserve at 5.45pm. All come out and support the teams.
Senior Ladies
The senior ladies played Buncrana away on Sunday and did very well to come away with a draw. Final score: Red Hughs 3-9 Buncrana 3-9. Well done to the girls. Their next game is this Sunday 28th April away to Letterkenny Gaels at 12.00 Noon.
Minor Board
The minors played way to Moville on Monday evening and lost narrowly despite a great effort. Final score: Moville 1-8 Red Hughs 0-9. Hard luck to the lads.
Underage training continues this Saturday from 11.00-12.00 noon for all children from U6 to U12/13. The U12 girls training continues on Saturday from 11.00-12.00 noon. All new players are welcome. Players are now required to wear mouthguards at all training sessions and games.
U14 girls training continues at the pitch on Wednesday from 5.30pm to 7.00pm. All girls are asked to attend. All new players welcome. Girls to bring their own waterbottle/mouthguard/gloves.
Back of the Wall 5K Challenge
This years ‘Back of the Wall Challenge’ 5k took place on Sunday and it was again a great success in good weather with a large crowd of around 200 taking part. The overall winner was Gerard Gallagher with his brother Shane in a very close second. The fastest lady was Leoni Cooke. Well done to everyone who took part. The club wishes to thank those who helped out in anyway including Mark Connolly and Joe Carlin for organising the event. Thanks to the vintage club for providing the stewards along the route, thanks to those who helped with registration and to the ladies who made tea & refreshments in the clubhouse afterwards.
Dance with Johnny Brady
Country music star Johnny Brady will play in Jackson Hotel on Friday 17th May in aid of Red Hughs GAA. There will be a Jiving Competition on the night also. Tickets are currently on sale priced at €15. All supporters, club members and non club members are welcome to attend this evening of music, dance and craic.
Errigal Challenge
After the success of climbing Muckish Mountain in recent years this year the club will be going for Mount Errigal. This climb takes place on Sunday 5th May with a free bus leaving the Crossroads (at Brownes) at 9.30am. All are welcome to take part. Circuit Training
Circuit training classes take place in the clubhouse on Mondays and Thursdays. Classes are open to men and women of all fitness levels and are a great chance to meet your fitness goals giving a total body workout. Ladies only classes take place on Mondays at 6.00pm and 6.30pm on Thursdays. A mixed class for beginners to advanced takes place on Mondays at 7.00pm and Thursdays at 6.30pm.
