MENS FOOTBALL
Our Senior and Reserve footballers return to action on Sunday, when N. Conaill travel to Connolly Park for the next round of games in the All County League. We will be hoping to build on our impressive start to the season after defeating Ardara in the opening game on Easter Sunday. N. Conaill tasted defeat in their opening game of the season going down by 4 points v Four Masters, but put that setback behind them when they recorded a 3 point win over Killybegs on Easter Sunday. The visitors have 4 players in their ranks which were part of the Donegal squad which clinched the All Ireland title in September. A large crowd is expected for Sundays clash so supporters are urged to get their early. Throw in is expected to be at 3.00, with the reserve game getting underway at 1.30. Times will be confirmed on the club facebook page and in the parish bulletin.
LADIES FOOTBALL
Ladies Football training continues on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8pm to 9pm.
EASTER CAMP
The club ran a hugely successful 3 day Easter Camp last week with well over 100 children attending. The sunshine and thankfully much milder weather added to everyones enjoyment. Over the 3 days the children took part in many games, while also learning some of the basic skills of gaelic football. We would like to say a big thank you to all of our coaches who helped out and especially to camp co ordinator Charlie Byrne for all his hard work over the last few weeks. The only negative point to report over the 3 days was the fact that our supplier failed to deliver the footballs which the children who attended were due to receive on the final day. Each child will receive their ball, as promised within the next few weeks
BOYS FOOTBALL
Training continues for the Under 6 age group in the club, gym on Sunday mornings from 10 to 11-15. It is also an introduction into the basic skills of Gaelic games. All children are welcome to attend.
Training for the Under 8 age group takes place in the club gym from 11 to 12-30 on Sunday mornings also in the club.
