BUSINESS guru Gerry Robinson is getting aboard his choo-choo again – in aid of the Relay for Life fundraising event which is planned to take place on the 4th & 5th May (Bank Holiday weekend).
Oakfield Park estate manager Brian McElhinney explained: “We are involved with the ‘Claire’s Bluebells’ Relay for Life team which is based in Raphoe. Claire is the late wife of one of our staff at Oakfield Park who lost her battle with cancer last year.
“The main feature of our event is the 24 hour train drive for which we are inviting sponsorship from businesses. For every €50 of sponsorship we receive the sponsor business will be entered into a draw. The prizes on offer is three separate one-to-one half day business advice sessions with Sir Gerry Robinson, well known for his success in business.
“We will be offering entertainment on the Saturday evening and a family fun day on the Sunday (12 to 6pm).”
