A fisherman has been airlifted to hospital from a Spanish trawler north-west of Arranmore island.
The man was complaining of chest pains and Malin Head Radio Coastguard received an SOS from the boat at around 11am this morning.
They contacted the rescue helicopter based in Sligo who were tasked to the scene.
They winched the man from the vessel before noon and took him to Sligo General Hospital where he is being treated.
