Colm Clancy was a vibrant member of the Rosses community before he was killed tragically.

Colm lost his life in a helicopter accident on 1 April 2009.

In his memory his family has organised a walk every year on the Sunday nearest his anniversary the proceeds of which will be split equally between Cara Malawi and Ubwino Wa Amayi two Malawi charities. (www.caramalawi.ie and www.ubwino.org)

This year Colm’s family and friends and anyone who wishes to undertake the walk will be doing so on Sunday 31 March (Easter Sunday).

The group will meet at the car park at Glenveagh National Park at 11.00 a.m., taking a bus to Gartan and walking the Lough Inshagh Walk to the Castle where refreshments will be available. All are welcome. (Approx 8 Km or 5 miles).559829_3265860237685_1002643238_32541231_1252198137_n
