A young Donegal Town student has scooped a major award for her short film in a competition organised in conjunction with The Gathering.
Bebhinn Naughton’s short film Hearts Like Mountains, blew away judges in Dublin this week.
The film was presented with the Best Short Film Award on the night.
Students had been asked to do a short promotional video about their area to appeal to people coming to visit.
Bebhinn pulled out all the stops and had a number of well-knwon faces in her video including GAA star Karl Lacey and personality Noel Cunningham.
Bebhinn, a student at the Abbey Vocational School, was accompanied to Dublin by her parents and brother.
