CLG BnaG 3-9 Kilcar 1-8
The senior ladies started this years Intermediate league campaign last Saturday with a home match against Kilcar and won on a scoreline of 3-9 to 1-8. Playing with a strong wind in the first half they led at the break 1-7 to 3 points. As was expected Kilcar came back strongly after the interval and with the help of a penalty managed to get back to within a point with five minutes to go. Fortunatley Milford’s experience showed as they held their nerve and goals from Bridgeen Devenny and Rachael Coyle gave the Ladies the perfect start to the new season. This was a very good result as the team were short a number of players and it showed what a great panel we have this year. Player of the match was Bridgeen Devenny and special mention should also go to Lianne Boyce who scored 1-4 on her senior debut
*Minors*
Downings 2-12 CLG BnaG 2-12

Best for Milford on the day were Dylan Hegarty, Hugh McMenamin and Jason McConigley.
Team: Caolan Bolton, Gavin Grier, Shay Durning, Brandon Toye, Darragh Black (0-1), Dominic Hull, Kane Barrett (0-5), Jason McConigley, Emmett Conaghan, Dylan Hegarty (1-5), Hugh McMenamin (1-1), Dara McGettigan, Odhran Coll. Subs: Finian Ferry, Jason Scullion, Cormac Toland, Jamie Heena
