OASIS brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher are separately considering invitations to come to Co Donegal this summer – for the Gallagher clan reunion.
Organisers had to send the Manchester-born due separate invitations….because the pair have hardly spoken to each other for four years.
“We are extending special invitations to Noel and Liam Gallagher,” a spokesman for the Gallagher clan said.
Events are planned in Letterkenny and Gortahork over ten days from August 6.
“We hope they will be interested because of the songwriting and musical aspects but, also because it’s a Gallagher family gathering.”
More than 14,000 Gallaghers were in Donegal in 2007 – setting a new clan gathering world record.
And the organisers are hoping they can smash that this time…and bring a massive boost to the Donegal economy.
A Global Gallagher Award will be presented during this year’s festivities, which are part of The Gathering.
Visitors from across north America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand have already confirmed they are coming to the festival.
