BY PATSY McGONAGLE: Donegal under 12 relay teams excelled in Tullamore at national inter-county cross country relays on Sunday – with the boys winning the title.
They hit the front early and a sweet team victory was to ensue, led out by Buncrana’s Adam McCrudden, Killygordon’s Jack Gillespie and national champion from Burnfoot Shane McMonagle – all Finn Valley AC – with Cranford’s Conor Black on board.
The under 12 girls led out by Amy Boyle Carr and supported by Lauren Mc Daid and Aoife Mc Grath all Finn Valley plus Letterkenny’s Karen Gallagher collected bronze while the 14 boys just missed out in 4th spot
