Keadue Rovers left Killygordon with a share of the spoils thanks to a Hugh Boyle header on seventy one minutes. The home side took the lead on twenty one minutes when Ryan Carlin headed in from a Benny Bonner corner. It was almost two nil six minutes later when a Paddy Collins shot rebounded off a post back into the hands of the keeper, before Keadue Rovers had a glancing header come off the outside of the post. Curragh did think they had a second goal, but Gareth Gallagher’s header was ruled out. The game had very few real chances, but credit to both teams who went all out for a winner in the last quarter. This was a good team effort from both sides. Referee: Victor Rooney.
