Many thanks to everyone who attended last Thursdays coffee evening in the clubhouse, and a particular thank you to Neil Gallagher for attending with the Sam Maguire cup. A great night was enjoyed by everyone, and pictures are available on www.jmac.ie. This weekend sees the club represent the county in the quiz section of the Scór na nÓg Ulster semi-final. This takes place in Glenswilly on Friday night, with doors opening at 7pm and the competition starting at 8pm. We wish Brian Gallagher, Cormac Mc Ginley & Aidan Mc Gill the very best of luck, and hope that they can progress to the final. Ádh mór lads! This Saturday, December 8th, sees us make a cheque presentation of €16,000 to Temple Street Childrens Hospital, the proceeds of Septembers Charity Cycle from Donegal Town to Glencolmcille. We would like to see as many of the cyclists as possible join us on Saturday, with the presentation taking place at 2pm in the Naomh Columba clubhouse. All are most welcome. Bígí linn
The minor board AGM has been set for Monday, December 17th, at 7pm in the clubhouse. This was originally planned for Sunday the 16th, but has been changed to accommodate the county convention.
The 2012 underage presentation night is scheduled for Saturday, December 15th, in Meenaneary Community Centre, and will take place from 6-9pm. Patrick Mc Brearty will be in attendance with the Sam Maguire. Míle comghairdeas to the Donegal County Vocational Schools team on retaining the Ulster title with their victory over Cavan last Thursday. A particular word of congrats to all the players from Coláiste na Carraige. Stars in Their Eyes 2013 will take place on Saturday, February 9th, in the Meenaneary Community Centre.
