IT’S been making headlines around the world this week – but no-one has seen it quite like this.
Lough Salt has, of course, been the centre of attention since it was revealed that local divers led by Gus O’Driscoll have been diving into it in search of golf balls which may be worth €20,000 each!
The golf balls were hit into the lake way back in 1891 by Old Tom Morris, a legendary golfer.
But here is Peter McGettigan’s incredible snap taken from the Lough Salt road last evening with Muckish in the background and Glen Lough in the distance.
