Donegal Sports Partnership will host a consultation session on Positive Mental Health for Sports Clubs on Monday 3rd December at the Station House Hotel, Letterkenny at 7pm.

This will contribute to developing a Charter for Positive Mental Health, a practical tool which sports clubs will be able to use to promote best practice within their organisations.

Mayor Frank Mc Brearty has dedicated his year in office to Sport and Mental Health and will be hosting a conference on the theme in the Finn Valley area in May/June of 2013.

In advance of this event Donegal Sports Partnership has been asked to look at the development of a Charter for Positive Mental Health for sports clubs and a consultation session has been organised in the Station House Hotel, Letterkenny on Monday December 3rd at 7pm.

The session which is open to all sports clubs and organisations will be facilitated by Stephen Friel of Friel Consulting. We will also have representatives from the HSE available to provide advice to clubs on the night.

Refreshments will be provided and pre-registration for the event is advisable. To book your place at the workshop or for further information please contact Donegal Sports Partnership on 074 91 16078/16079 or by email at info@activedonegal.com.
