Another earthquake has rocked Co Donegal.
A quake with a magnitude of 2.7 on the Richter Scale was recorded off the northwest coast just after breakfast-time this morning.
The deep tremor in the Atlantic ocean was noted by the British Geological Survey at about 9.08am.
The centre of the earthquake was measured 150km from the Donegal coast and at a depth of 34 kms.
This isn’t the first seismic activity to be felt in Donegal this year.
In January, residents across the county were woken by a minor earthquake, measuring 2.2 on the Richter Scale which caused headlines around the world country.
And on 6 June, a 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck about 30 miles off the West coast. British data showed the depth to be only three kilometres.
