The LYIT Christmas Fair will take place on campus in the An Dánlann Building of Letterkenny Institute of Technology on Tuesday 4 December, 2012 from 10am -2.30pm.
This event is organised to raise money for students in difficulty this Christmas.
Last year, Fr. John Boyce, Chaplain, LYIT, Paddy Gallagher, Student Services Officer at LYIT and Fiona Kelly, Student Administrator organised the LYIT Christmas Fair and raised €1,161 for the LYIT Christmas Appeal.
This money enabled us to purchase toys, food and coal vouchers for 10 students families with young children struggling to cope with the cost of Christmas.
This year our aim is to help 15-20 families that have returned to education who may be finding the cost of Christmas a struggle.
If you’d like to support this cause and maybe pick up a stocking filler or two, then please come along to the 2nd LYIT Christmas Fair.
Festive music, winter warming drinks and stands packed with beautiful Christmas themed goodies will be on display.
Admission €2 to public and €1 to students (Admission includes entry into the Christmas Hamper draw)
