EXCLUSIVE: The 30 workers at the Donegal call-centre which was told to close yesterday have been offered a total of just €68,500 between 29 workers, Donegal Daily can reveal.

The workers have been told they must either accept or reject the offer which was made through KPMG this morning.

The workers have been told they have a noon deadline to accept the offer which works out at just more than €2,000 each.

The workers at Assetco Manage Services in Buncrana are now meeting to discuss their options.

They have also appealed for anybody who may be able to offer them legal advise to contact them.

One worker told us “That is all they think we are worth. Many of us have been here since 2006 and worked very hard for this company.

“We are being told to take this miserly offer or leave it. That’s what they have told us.

“We need help. We don’t want to sign anything in case we leave ourselves exposed.”
