A Co Donegal bridge estimated to be almost 150 years old has been torn down and replaced.
The bridge at Letterbrick, Cloghan was demolished on Friday and replaced with a new steel structure yesterday.
Our pictures show the bridge just hours before it was replaced.
The bridge was originally built to take just animals and foot pedestrians but vehicles soon began to use the bridge.
Donegal County Council decided the bridge was too dangerous and replaced the bridge.
